Providing Everything You Need
Mouldings and Mounting.
I have a vast selection of popular and favourite mouldings on display for you to view. From budget to the highest quality, I have something for everyone. Choices range from wood, enviro-friendly composites and aluminium, to the most ornate and decorative swept frames.
A mount can really enhance your image, providing protection from touching the glass and giving artwork the wow factor. I have numerous colours and mount options together with 'invisible' supports for object framing. All mounts are 100% acid free and will not discolour with age.
Glazing and Finishing
Together with traditional clear and non-reflective glass I can advise you on conservation glass (UV protect) and museum grade (UV protect and non-reflective).
I also offer framing in perspex which can be a cheaper or safer (non-smash) option.
A majority of frames are then 'strung' at the back for you to easily display on a wall. However, another option is fixed edge plates that allow screw fixing into a wall to secure heavier artwork or provide a more permanent fixture.
Smaller frames can be manufactured with a discreet stand at the back, allowing pictures to be stood up.
Additional Services
Re-framing and Re-glazing:
I am very happy to undertake re-framing work that you require to update the look of your artwork or complement a particular rooms decor. I can also re-glaze pictures after those little accidents!
Mirrors:
I can supply framed mirrors in any size with or without bevelled edges.
Cards and Gallery:
Within the shop I display and sell a selection of framed artwork by local artists in a range of media. I also stock many cards, particularly depicting local scenes, for all occasions.
